
I have all of five minutes of this hectic day to post this. Let’s see how I do. The sous at Birdie G’s posted a picture of a green gage plums with chamoy. I mentioned I would steal it and so I did. Not sure if this one is going to make it to the menu tonight, there’s inventory to do and many other life things attacking me at the moment. However, I hate missing posts. I guess it’s an OCD thing?

The whole rub of this is I made the damn cocktail last night, snapped a pic, then promptly forgot the specs. It tasted great and then everything afterward tasted awful. Not sure how it all derailed.
It was a simple one with five ingredients. London dry gin, Zirbenz, yellow plum syrup (forgot the actual name of them), lemon juice, and manzanilla sherry. Oh yeah, and the pain in the ass garnish. But, the garnish looks cool and is edible so let’s go! Hopefully tonight I’ll get my act together and finalize the whole thing but I can almost guarantee I’ll be deep in the shits all night because it’s been one of those days, oh, and Hi, Murphy, you rotten son of a bitch.
