I’ve got just one thing on my brain this Black Friday, and that’s a post Thanksgiving sandwich. Sourdough bread, enough mayonnaise to choke a Frenchman, fresh black pepper, then the stuffing, turkey, a thin layer of gravy, and the coup de grace, cranberry sauce from the can. Just for the record, I don’t put any mashed taters on mine. Then cue the inevitable nap that ensues once this thing goes down into my distended dad bod belly. Ha! Nap! Yes, a man can dream. And also yes, conjuring up this future lunch caused me to think of all the other sandwiches available in the pantheon and then whip up this list for which you are available to view, dear reader.

As I wrote this, all I could think of was making a BLT cocktail and then which of these would make good drinks a la the NYC bar Double Chicken Please. I think a BLT would work quite well. Lettuce juice, acid adjusted. A bread infused white rum and a bacon infused dark rum, lacto tomato syrup. Boom. Gotta wait until tomato season end of next summer.

Speaking of seasons, we’re very close to citrus season. It all comes together again, now doesn’t it?
